REGISTRATION PERIOD: January 10, 2025 through February 20, 2025.
FESTIVAL CATEGORIES
PIANO SONATINA
• Any composer, one or more movements from one Sonatina within the time limit.
• Application Fee: $35 (performance time under 5 minutes)
PIANO SONATA
• Any composer, one or more movements from one Sonata within the time limit.
• Rondos are also permitted.
• Application Fee: $45 (performance time under 10 minutes)
SONATINA/SONATA for ONE PIANO FOUR HANDS or PIANO WITH OTHER INSTRUMENT(S)
• Sonatina or Sonata by any composer, one or more movements within the time limit.
• Must be original by the composer for 1 piano 4 hands OR for piano and other instrument(s),
such as Piano Trio Sonata or Sonata for Violin and Piano
• Ensemble must be coached by an SCMTA teacher.
• Application Fee: $35 per ensemble for Sonatina (performance time under 5 minutes)
$45 per ensemble for Sonata (performance time under 10 minutes)
